My name is Mary, but most of my friends in the History community call me Micaila.

I am a self-professed history geek, seamstress, and BBC nut.

In 1992 I attended my first Civil War reenactment and I was immediately hooked. Be it 1840s Oregon Trail, 1850s HBC Fur Trade, or 1860s Civil War, I will gladly seize any opportunity to throw on period attire and engage in a little experiential  archeology.

I am a self-taught seamstress with 20+ years of experience in creating historic, period-accurate clothing.
